In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of commercial clients, identifying their insurance needs, and providing tailored solutions. You will build relationships with business owners, assess risks, negotiate with insurance carriers, and ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Prospect and generate new commercial insurance business through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
- Assess client risks and identify appropriate insurance coverage.
- Present insurance proposals and explain policy terms and conditions.
- Negotiate with insurance carriers to obtain competitive rates and coverage.
- Manage a portfolio of existing commercial clients, providing ongoing service and support.
- Process policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and product knowledge.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service.
- Achieve sales goals and contribute to the agency's overall success.
Qualifications:
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required).
- Proven sales experience in commercial insurance.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverages.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant applications.
